Hello my friends. I got a great news today! I just landed the job for the marketing campaign of the Down Boy 2008 collection. This high fashion designer makes shoes for the North American and European market.

Starting next week You will see my face on the cover of the 2008 Down Boy catalog. And then progressively other marketing tools.

Yvan`s Playgirl fanclub week

Open house PLAYGIRL party at my house! To thank all of my fans in Vancouver. Without you girls none of this would be possible. I feel just like the cherry on a french banana split.

What a crazy week it`s been for me !

Well, the second printing of the march 2008 issue of playgirl magazine is still stores now. I almost forgot about this... until I met with a very nice welcome committee at the Vancouver airport last night.

I was walking to the car on my way back from a photo-shoot when I realized a group of girls standing on the sidewalk. ``can we have an
autograph please mr Cournoyer``. They were so cute and so polite , I decided to strike a pose with 2 of them.


Here I am at Mona`s club in Vancouver for a special Playgirl found raiser. I am meeting with fans to promote a healthy life style in a drug free environment.






I love my job !

Yvan Playgirl feed back

April`s edition of Playgirl magazine featuring myself as been released 2 weeks ago now. Thanks to you my friends, most stores are now sold out in north-America and Europe. People ask me where they can find the magazines ? All I can say is that the editors in New-York told me that a second delivery will hit the stands on Valentines Day.

Thanks to everyone who showed up at the autograph sessions and for your numerous email questions and comments, the pleasure is truly mine.

Here is my answers to some of them.

1) Are you proud of being featured in Playgirl for a record 6th time? As a fitness model and as a men, it is a huge honor for me and I take it as a great compliment.

2) How do you feel about the fact that millions of people are seeing you nude ? Well, early in my career I had the privilege to worked with some of the best fine art artists in the world like McTavish, Klein, Edrossa. I respect the effect of my body as an source of artistic and sometimes sexual influence.

3) How does people close to you react to this international ``exposure``? My family and friends are very supportive of my career and they know that this is simply another part of my fitness modeling career in the same note as Fitness magazines or even fashion spreads.

4) What are your short term plans following that Playgirl wave ? There is already 3 announcement to be made in the next few weeks concerning other major features in the fashion and glamor field. Stay tuned for more, 2008 is starting on a really good note and I am ready for the next level.

Yvan goes snowboarding

Ok today I`am at Cypress mountain 20 mins outside of downtown Vancouver. The forecast is amazing 60cm of new snow! let`s ride!

At 4.5 meters of snow on the ground and still growing, Cypress is the official site for the upcoming Vancouver winter Olympics of 2010. As far as me, my cruising speed as room for improvement. I think I lost the other guys...

I am still learning new tricks but first how to handle the deep powder snow? Keep your weight to the back foot...easier said then done.











Up here is the view is amazing. Behind me, the Georgia Strait. It looks like I am on the moon.



















This is what snowboarding is all about. Lots of laughs and a big breath of fresh air.




































It`s time to get back home. I had a blast and will be back real soon.
